The Velkhent Pirates were a group of brigands that launched recurring attacks on the ships that traveled between Portmith and Autanim causing travel between the two cities to be restricted. The pirates resided in the Velkhent Hideout located on a small island outside of Portmith. They were eventually defeated by Roddick and his friends. After defeating the pirate leader, Roddick also discovered and freed Pericci who had been taken captive by the pirates.
