Tropp (トロップ, Toroppu?) is a port town located in the western coast of the Astralian Continent on Roak. It appears in Star Ocean, its remake Star Ocean: First Departure, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

Story[]
In S.D. 46, upon reaching Tropp, the party witnesses the fall of the Celestial Ship to the Muan Continent. After choosing whether or not to visit the crash site, Roddick Farrence and his friends get on a ship to Eckdart.

Gameplay[]
Tropp, making an appearance in the original Star Ocean and its remake as well as in The Last Hope, offers different options in both entries. In Star Ocean, the city offers three shops, and a number of Private Actions (PA11, PA27, PA37, PA38, PA39, PA56, PA88, PA89, PA104).
In The Last Hope, the town offers only two shops, so that the player may buy weapons and skill manuals, but ten quests proper ("Grooming is Essential", "A Symbol of Bravery", "Otherworldly Diet", "The Second Doll", "New Life, New Clothes", "The Mapless Traveler", "Ruddle Strikes Again", "Rebound Queen", "Whodunit?", and "Desert Dilemma") and five shop orders to complete.
