The Traum Mountains is the mountain range right outside the Royal City of Airyglyph. Covered in snow, this range connects the city to the mining town of Kirlsa.

As the party espcapes Airyglyph by horse drawn carriage, Nel explains the current political climate of Elicoor II to Fayt and Fittir. However, during the briefing the cart comes under attack from the Dragon Brigade. Telling Nel to jump out with the other two, Farleen and Tynave draw the dragons away. Nel and the others have to walk on foot from there on to reach Kirlsa.
