This is a timeline for the events of Star Ocean: The Divine Force.

Before S.D. 568[]

  • Ages before S.D. 568 the unknown interstellar civilization visits planets like Aster IV, Verguld, Vergnis and possibly other worlds, leaving behind ancient ruins or caves with paintings of some advanced and powerful symbols.
  • Around 1670 AD the Royal city of Acendros is founded.
  • Centuries before S.D. 568 the ancient civilization of Mhedume becomes extinct. With the capitol turning into Mhedume Ruins, their traditions and knowledge live on within the Kingdom of Aucerius.
  • Around S.D. 383 the Castle Aucerius experiences extensive reconstruction.

S.D. 568[]

  • The federated planet of Vyr is surveyed by Scorpium as a potentional candidate for integration. War breaks up between people wanting to integrate and those who do not. Vyr requests the aid by Pangalactic Federation in resolving the issue. Upon learning more about the Scorpium admiral Remington integrates with intentions of becoming its "Sovereign" to expand the Federation under his rule. Since then Remington is forming the Centralist faction within Scorpium in the shadows.
  • Helgar's disease pandemic breaks out on Aster IV. Borders between the Kingdom of Aucerius and the Vey'l Empire are closed. Despite Vey'l Empire's request for iatrimancers from Aucerius to treat its citizens the Kingdom sends none, resulting in death of many imperials, including the Empress Tatiana Il Vey'l, originally an Aucerius royalty member. The loss of Tatiana changes her husband, the Emperor Bohld'or Il Vey'l as well as the relations between the two monarchies.

S.D. 569[]

  • Albaird Bergholm loses his left arm when protecting Laeticia Aucerius from falling debris in the Royal Palace of Aucerius. He is given a prosthesis through Malkya Trathen with the aid of Midas Felgreed. The act of interspecies transplantation is considered immoral. As a result, Midas is expelled from the Semiomancy Consortium, diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Aucerius and Nihlbeth are severed, Malkya returns to her homeland and two other Three Wise Men leave the Royal City with Midas.

S.D. 576[]

  • Maester Filberto Deforges dies of Helgar's disease. Aucerian King Raimbaut Aucerius who arrives with Laeticia, Albaird, Theo and other members of his royal retinue to attend the mourning ceremony is asked by Marquis Yzen to leave. Nina Deforges is accepted by Marquis as his foster daughter and starts her training in iatrimancy art.

S.D. 583[]

  • At some point director of the Semiomancy Consortium Melthia Zieler shows Laeticia the Fulgas which have been in development in secret, based on the schematics left behind by Midas fourteen years ago.
  • Laeticia becomes wary of a growing danger looming from the Vey'l Empire. Unbeknownst to her the empire enjoys the technological assistance from three Vyrian military deserters whose spaceship Terranus crash landed to the east from the Imperial city of Vey'l. Furthermore some key Aucerian personages are actually imperial spies.
  • Under the pretense of delivery, Scorpium sends a special version of D.U.M.A. via Ydas to the non-federated planet of Verguld to determine suitability of Verguldians for integration.
  • During that delivery, Lawrence Logistics' Ydas is destroyed by Pangalactic Federation's Astoria. The crewmembers Raymond Lawrence, Elena, Chloe Kanaris and other employees evacuate via pods, along with cargo jettisoned by Elena. Approximately at the same time Laeticia and Albaird leave the Royal City incognito to find Maester Midas with some arrangements provided by her cousin Theo Klemrath.
  • During the attack on Ydas, Marielle is sent to the brig for disobeying Astoria's captain Bennett Maudsley, but released upon return to the base. With help provided by Sayuri T. Sanjo, Pyke Mayfield and Kassim Latif she embarks on her own mission to enact justice. As a provisional captain of the stolen merchant ship Akizuki she first tries to find Ydas' black box to obtain a proof of cpt. Bennett's misconduct and to save the downed vessel's crewmembers.
  • In the next five days Raymond's and Chloe's pods land on Aster IV after being struck by two strong electromagnetic blasts. Raymond attempts to familiarize himself with his current location but is attacked by a large monster. Laeticia and Albaird provide him with a sword and help him.
  • Raymond informs his brother Antonio Lawrence via long-range communication about his situation. The fate of other seven crewmembers remains unknown, but in actuality Chloe's pod crashlands into the sea and is saved by fishers, while Elena pilots her damaged pod manually, closing to Aster IV at slower pace.
  • Another pod lands in the nearby Mhedume Ruins. The trio rushes with hopes of finding Elena but they find D.U.M.A., Ydas' cargo. D.U.M.A. immediately informs about a danger and assist the trio in against throngs of local thieves and a giant golem U.D. Hercules. After the battle she remains silent.
  • Upon returning to his pod, Raymond contacts his brother again to arrange his retrieval. Antonio asks Laeticia and Albaird through Raymond's universal device to take care of his brother. Raymond makes several promises with Laeticia to help each other out in search for people respective to their goals.
  • In Larcette village the trio talks more about each other's origins and goals. Laeticia and Albaird struggle to believe Raymond comes from the stars. In the night Laeticia and Raymond try to become friends in her attempt to be on best terms with him in case she fails to persuade Maester Midas to return to the Royal City with her.
  • Next evening they reach the mining town of Delryk to meet Marquis who may know about Midas' whereabouts. The trio meets Nina Deforges in a brief encounter who recognizes Albaird's pain.
  • In the maester Marquis Yzen's infirmary the trio meets Nina again the next morning but the doctor left for the Delryk mines. A local miner storms inside to get help as dozens of fellow miners have been wounded by previously unseen monsters.
  • While Nina works hard to heal the wounded, the trio investigates the mines. In the depths they defeat a huge worm-like monster, ending the crisis and bringing the wounded doctor back.
  • Next morning the trio speaks with Marquis but he refuses to tell Laeticia Midas' current place of residence, citing good conscience. Outside, Nina properly introduces herself as a heir to Filberto Deforges, one of the Three Wise Men.
  • At her home Nina speaks about her father's death and tells the trio she remembers Laeticia from the funeral. She asks the Princess for help, promising she will persuade Marquis to tell them about Midas in return.
  • Nina drags Raymond to the infirmary to inform Marquis about her sudden leave for the city of Rythal. Raymond uses D.U.M.A. to escape doctor's wrath. Meanwhile Laeticia feels remorse for not remembering Filberto's funeral.
  • The party quickly rushes for Rythal with it's port closed due to the imperial blockade which infuriates Welch Vineyard who happens to be present. The blockade also thwarts Raymond's plan to move eastwards for Chloe.
  • At the local hospital headed by doctor Vahnel Thoran Nina reveals her plan to eradicate the Helgar's desease for good and asks Laeticia to take her to the Semiomancy Consortium. After a brief argument about current priorities Albaird faints on spot due to his deteriorating prosthetic arm.
  • Albaird is released the next morning but Vahnel is unable to properly examinate his arm, so he advises to get Marquis' opinion.
  • Back in Delryk even Marquis is unable to check the prosthetic arm so he tells the party to find Midas at Eda, since only Midas knows how to fix it. He even allows Nina to leave for the Royal City to study and to find the cure for Helgar's desease.
  • Through the Larcasse Wield the party reaches the outlying mountaineous Edahli Region. They spend a cold night among the rocks. At this point Elena contacts Raymond via his universal device to send him her landing coordinates not far from Eda with estimated time of arrival in 27 hours.
  • After laying the successful siege of heavily fortified Eda, protected by a squadron of semiomantic robots armed with primitive cannons, the party meets Midas who at first mistakes them with invaders from Vey'l. He lets the gates be opened after hearing about Albaird's arm.
  • Midas checks Albaird's arm at his home in presence of Nina and Raymond who tried to convince him he also was a semiomancer with D.U.M.A. being his orb. According to Midas the prosthesis will lose all its functions in the next half year. Right now he can provide a new prosthesis of inferior make.
  • Meanwhile Laeticia explores the village alone and sees for herself the care Midas provides the residents.
  • Upon hearing the bad news from Albaird, Laeticia storms inside and begs Midas on her knees to help Albaird, promising in the name of all her royal ancestors he will never have to face anyone of her lineage. The maester accepts but warns he hasn't been able to obtain the needed material since fourteen years ago.
  • Furthermore Midas reveals he just by sight to determined Raymond had no semiomantic connection with D.U.M.A., but let him in anyway out of curiosity. Raymond tries to be more proactive to make Midas join them but failed. According to the maester, if the kingdom's future lays in his hands only, it deserves its fate.
  • Just then Raymond's universal device alerts him of Elena's premature descent due to the altitude control failure. Midas becomes hyped up by the mere sight of Raymond's device's functionality, but is dismissed by Raymond who intends to reach Elena's crash site. Albaird and Laeticia go to help him per agreement. Midas also joins and leads them to the Galca Shrine where Elena's pod crashlanded in high speed, ruining the altar with ancient symbols.
  • Elena is badly damaged by the impact, immobilized, with her symbo-drive destroyed, being left with 56 hours of backup power supply. Salvaging necessary parts from her totalled pod is impossible, so she asks Raymond to take her offline and destroy her to prevent any misuse of her highly advanced technology. Raymond refuses and his desparate seek of another solution promts D.U.M.A. to speak up and advises the party to retrieve the needed material from his own escape pod.
  • The party hides Elena back into her pod and returns to the Larcasse Wield only to learn Raymond's pod has been inspected. The suspicious strangers open fire by guns. After the encounter the party disassembles the pod, much to Midas' pleasure.
  • Raymond unsuccessfully tries to contact both Antonio and his father Raul Lawrence for the last time but at that moment, the verguldian long-range communication network seems to be either offline or jammed somehow.
  • Upon securing the parts the party splits. Raymond and Midas return to Galca Shrine and Laeticia with Albaird and Nina go to investigate how many people have seen the comet (Elena's pod) and the identity of those strangers who may as well be the imperial spies. They will rally in three days (Elena's estimated time of her repair) at the Shrine. They conclude the 'comet' was seen in the entire western half of the kingdom.
  • Elena shuts herself down for safety reasons when Raymond and Midas start their work. After many hours they successfully replace the symbo-drive and repair her neural circuity. Bringing her back online, they spend more time on delicate work on her mechanical limbs.
  • With Elena's movability of her arms and hands is partially restored she thanks and asks both of them to properly rest while continuing the repairs by herself. However, no rest is granted due to D.U.M.A. allerting them about an incoming attack from a giant violet-skinned horned assailant and his goons. During the battle this stranger speaks about a threat that must be stopped for he won't allow the consumption of another world. He then uses a strange technique of rapid jump to disappear upon his defeat.
  • At the same time Laeticia's party finds Rythal with the incipient epidemy. A drunken sailor informs them about a 'comet' bringing a violet skinned horned assailant who started to spread the illness. Once they left for the Galca Shrine, they really meet and fight the described man. They too fail in obtaining any useful information, but it is clear they must hurry.
  • Laeticia and her party find tired Raymond on watch while Midas is in deep sleep and Elena continues her self-repair. Raymond may finally rest while Laeticia takes over his duty.
  • Next morning Elena wakes him up to inform she has recovered by 70 % and is now able to move normally thank to Midas' efforts.
  • Raymond retells Elena everything that transpired and now intends to resume his search for Chloe. At he same time, in Midas presence, he reveals the deal with Laeticia about persuading him to return to the Royal City. Midas immerdiately refuses but Elena convinces him she needs somebody else besides Raymond to deal with possible performance issues, be it Midas himself or any other semiomancer.
  • Back in Rythal the ship transport resumes operation but the epidemy is widespread. Elena warns the party and Vahnel about his hospital being a ground zero and advises to avoid the place and wear the face masks. Elena and Nina agree to help with treating the most severe cases after the party concludes the epidemy came with the ships.
  • Midas contracts the Helgar's desease and suffers from high fever. Elena spends the night studying Nina's documents and needs samples of bacteria from the faculance of the ubiquitous birds spreading the illness. By the end of the next day the party discovers a roost with the same suspicious patterns they had seen in Delryk Mines. Nina with some help from Elena experiments with creating the zones of inhibition and ultimately succeeds to identify the cure.
  • They try the newfound cure on Midas. Elena asks Raymond about the rightness to supply locals with her advanced knowledge. She fears the locals with zero knowledge of bacteriology may bring about a catastrophy on themselves. Raymond, astonished by Elena's words not very different from feds, chooses to help anyway.
  • Meanwhile Nina asks the others and doctor Vahnel to keep the cure a secret for the time being as its key component, the dillwhip, is a very rare endemic growing on the Cottorinth mountain only.
  • Next morning, with Midas being cured, they leave Rythal for East. Due to the town being quarantined they make use of an abandoned Mt. Galca-Lemthas icy passage instead of a ship.
  • The party spends a night in an abandoned building. Midas asks Raymond what Elena, who is asleep at that moment, actually is and wonders how an android, or a mechanical doll modelled to appear as a human, is highly advanced. He suspects that even as a machine she has the abilities of self-awareness and sentience. Laeticia considers Elena a different species with radically different anatomy, arousing D.U.M.A.'s attention. Both Midas and Laeticia voice their wish to visit Raymond's homeworld of Verguld, the latter only muttering it silently.
  • The party leaves the snowy mountains for greeny black forest of the Cottorinth Region to reach the port Cotto where the Helgar's desease is widespread. After a brief battle with soldiers the party meets Theo Klemrath, the chief commander of the Aucerian Navy.
  • On their way to his office Theo explains the desease is being spread intentionaly by an unknown woman hiding on the Mount Cottorinth, but he can't let his men track her down at the moment.
  • In his office Theo tries to interrogate Raymond but is stopped by Laeticia who reveales they are cousins. Due to her intervence Theo becomes more willing and hears Raymond out about Chloe. Upon hearing about Nina's breakthrough, Theo lets the party to investigate the mountain and promises Raymond he shall investigate on Chloe's whereabouts.
  • The party finds the Cottorinth Pass infested by the same monsters they fought in Delryk Mines and by the carnivorous fungi spreading highly dangerous neurotoxins.
  • A large laboratory to breed those monstrosities is found and the party is attacked by a violet-skinned horned woman. D.U.M.A. shields the party against her highly advanced firearm but after she escapes for the Cottorinth Summit Approach, D.U.M.A. finds itself being unable to identify Sampati in time.
  • The woman asks who they are and states the colonel was right with having no escape. During the battle with the overgrown bird she escapes. No party member is able to unravel the meaning of her words, but Nina finds another laboratory with hosts of simples of dillwhip. Albaird reads through the documents left behind by that woman and establishes she along with the other two violet horned people works for the Vey'l Empire and that the epidemy of Helgar's desease doesn't seem to be spreading naturaly, but rather as a foul experiment.
  • Upon listening the party members, Theo promises his men will guard dillwhip, though he is reluctant to answer Raymond's questions on some sensitive topics out of fear he might be overheard. Anyway, he shows them an identikit of Chloe who has been under arrest as a possible spy. This information is provided by Chancellor Neyan Khezal.
  • Theo decides to escort Laeticia and her companions to Acendros as his token of gratitude and as one to speak with Neyan who might be unwilling to listen to both the Princess and Albaird. Before they embark, Raymond tells Laeticia that after Chloe's release he'll continue to stand by her side, and denies Elena's suggestion to leave Laeticia's party to avoid being dragged into a looming war. Theo questions Laeticia's reliance on Raymond and Elena who, as outsiders, still haven't taken an official oath of loyality to the Kingdom.
  • Reaching Acendros, the party heads right to the Royal Palace to meet the Chancellor. Neyan is far from being pleased by Laeticia's travels and her companions but is at least willing to attend the matter with Chloe. He reveals is is kept as a prisoner in Baldaar, a heavily guarded fortress bordering the Vey'l Empire. Currently, the king Raimbaut is present in Baldaar on behest of its captain Bertrand Hyrein.
  • After Raymond's harsh criticism of Neyan's security measures related to rampaging imperial spies, Laeticia outmaneuvers unwilling Chancellor with intention to speak with her father the King directly and enforces a permit to visit Baldaar. Theo returns to Cotto, while the party visits Melthia, director of the Semiomancy Consortium where Midas took his leave in order to not having to listen the 'twit' Neyan. Next, the party leaves for Baldaar without Midas who doesn't wish to bend the knee before His Majesty.
  • At Baldaar D.U.M.A. wonders why the people arm themselves and concludes a war will only limit their own development. Laeticia agrees.
  • The party meets the King Raimbaut in Baldaar Basilica who feels much relief to see his daughter Laeticia returns from her journey. Both the king and Cpt. Bertrand are more than happy to hear about Nina's breakthrough with Helgar's and about Maester Midas' return. The king quickly befriends both Raymond and Elena due to their contributions and quickly grants the freedom for Chloe.
  • Chloe bursts in tears upon her reunion with Raymond and Elena. During her imprisonment she has had difficulty to communicate because her communicator and universal device had been destroyed upon crashlanding. Bertrand shows them the room in a local inn to sleep because the King does not wish them to return to Acendros during the night.
  • After hearing for the second time from Raymond he intends to stay, Laeticia invites him to talk in the night on top of a nearby Devotion Hill, her favourite place. She reveals some parts of recent history between Aucerius and Vey'l Empire.
  • Next morning situation turns into a disaster. The Vey'l army starts its attack on Baldaar, armed with highly advanced firearms and colossal cannons mounted on great Vey'l battleships which can shoot as far as from the seaside. Very soon the southern gate is breached. The King with Bertrand wonder who had given the order to shoot on the enemy first. Raymond, Laeticia, Elena and D.U.M.A. conclude the battle is lost and make the King to announce a retreat after Laeticia quickly informs her father about the origin of her guests and the trio of enemies.
  • The party successfully leaves Baldaar for southern part of the Aucerius Plains but the King is shot from a great distance to his left arm and his stead is killed from the next shot. The party finds itself surrounded by throngs of Vey'l soldiers along with local barbarians and bandits. The horned violet woman from Cottorinth returns and sends four huge worms, the same as one from Delryk Mines. The battle is won but lots of Bertrand's soldiers die.
  • Raymond yells at D.U.M.A. for not following his orders to protect the king. The party finds itself surrounded once again and D.U.M.A. decides to follow Raymond's order this time, executing a previously unshown ability to boost defense and sending shock waves to stun the opponents. For doing so she faces anger from Raymond again for not using this power earlier: many of Bertrand's soldiers might have survived. D.U.M.A. does not answer and detects a new threat, this time from the North.
  • It turns out to be the infantry and cavalry from the Royal City, headed by Duke Lombert Klemrath (King's brother) and general Canus Arkan. The day was saved, but Elena suspects they would fare better if they did not come at all.
  • Back in Acendros the King is recovering from his injury, while Neyan, Lombert and other high-ranking military officers discuss the Battle of Baldaar. They are displeased by hearing the battle was decided from the very beginning and by the news about Aucerians shooting first, even blaming Bertrand he wanted baseless glory for himself. Laeticia and Melthia give a little insight about Vey'lian advanced tech which attracts Neyan.
  • After the meeting the party heads for the Semiomancy Consortium where Melthia decides it is time to show everyone the Fulga, the very reason Laeticia decided to embark on her travels. With a battalion of such airships the Kingdom of Aucerius would easily gain the upper hand in this war that has just began. But the secret development of Fulga is still underway. They need a rare material to make it work: Levitas ore, found only in the depths of Ancient Coil in Nihlbeth.
  • Melthia arranged the transport in the port of Cotto with commander Theo and manages to coax Midas to come along. Elena with Chloe stay behind in Acendros. They set foot on Nihlbeth after crossing the strait but wonder how they may be greeted because they did so illegally, as the relations between the Kingdom and Nihlbeth had been ended fourteen years ago.
  • Soon the party learns Nihlbeth is under attack from the Vey'l Empire with the leader of Trathen people Malkya personaly engaging the enemy. In a brief battle Malkya happily reunites with Midas. The party members suspect they have been lovers. Malkya welcomes everyone warmly and invites them to her home at the Ancient Coil. Upon learning about their purpose she concludes they intend to finish the Fulga and reveals her involvement in its early stage of development. She agrees with the mining in exchange for their assistance to repell the enemy attack.
  • Malkya joins the party and while they defeat several enemy outpost, a violet horned Vey'l general named Gaston Gaucier leads a direct attack on the Ancient Coil. The party defeats him upon returning. He disappears with a rapid jump after telling about his great interest in D.U.M.A.
  • The Ancient Coil is saved and Malkya informs the mining is going to be much harder due to lots injuries among the Trathens. She agrees to provide Albaird with a new osseus core, a material Midas needs to restore his prosthesis. The surgery takes all the night. Outside the Coil Laeticia tells Raymond more about her past and how Albaird lost his left arm, revealing the prosthesis is the reason the Three Wise Men left the Royal City after Midas was put to trial, spearheaded by her uncle Lombert.
  • Next morning Albaird shows everyone his new arm but a bad news comes. Melthia is informed about unstable situation in the Kingdom following the worsening of King's injury, thus Chancellor Neyan demands Laeticia's immediate return.
  • Laeticia leaves along with Albaird for home, while the rest descend into the depths of the Ancient Coil where they find a rich mural painting with advanced symbols reacting to Nina's pendant. They finally find a rich deposit near the place of battle against a tough ghost boss.
  • Meanwhile Laeticia and Albaird meet Neyan in Cotto who informs Duke Lombert stages a coup d'etat. They rush for Acendros to find the Royal City in chaos with the knights fighting against each other. In front of the Royal Palace they are joined by Theo. Inside they find Bertrand and Elena, who briefed Raymond via his universal device about the situation. They both were fighting the insurgents together.
  • They learn the King is safely hidden with Chloe, so Laeticia leads her party to a secret passage leading to the direction of Cotto which is not affected by the coup yet, so they may regroup there.
  • After catching-up with King Raimbaut and Chloe, Neyan puts an anti-gas mask on and attacks with a bomb made of neurotoxins from the fungi at Cottorinth. Elena is unaffected but her attempt to attack Neyan is stopped by Theo who turns out to be a traitor, just like his father and Neyan who disables and turns off Elena with a high-voltage shocking device.
  • Laeticia, King Raimbaut, Chloe, Albaird and Bertrand find themselves imprisoned in the Palace dungeons. Bertrand is held elsewhere so Albaird at first thinks he betrayed them as well, but Chloe with broken Asterian language manages to inform he did not betray.
  • Soon Neyan, Theo and that violet horned woman Lola Jornaus inform them about their involvement in the coup. Thus Laeticia and Albaird learn how Theo has been pulling their noses from the very start. Theo admits how he felt happy about their journey and blames Raymond for bringing them back. Now they are about to be executed by burning. Albaird frenetically appeals to Theo and his tarnished knight's honor, yells at Neyan, calling him a fiend upon hearing he has been the 'ambassador' of enemy and about his original plan to send on the journey just him alone without the Princess. After the trio of insurgents left, Laeticia almost collapses devastated and in tears.
  • General Canus enters Ancient Coil to arrest Midas and Raymond "for endangering the life of the Princess and misusing the Royal Navy." After a brief quarrel Canus and his troopers are defeated and he himself is put to sleep by angered Malkya because he taunted Raymond about his inability to quickly return to the Royal City and about using some flying contraption he once heard about instead. Raymond then recieves a message about Elena's signal being lost.
  • Neyan and Lola return to the dungeons to retrieve Laeticia and the King who finally woke up. As they lead the prisoners sway, Albaird desparately yells again and is frustrated he is unable to do anyting. Then his left hand begins to mysteriously glow. Malkya actually decides to leave the mining just to her men and to use her secret semiomancy art of mass teleport. Using Albaird's arm as a beacon, she manages, even if it greatly lowers her vitality, to get herself, Raymond, Midas and Nina to Acendros where they break Albaird and Chloe free.
  • In the Throne room Neyan informs the King about his execution but grants Laeticia an offer to enter in matrimony with the Imperial prince Ger'rard Il Vey'l. Both deny such an offer, even after Lola and Theo try to persuade the Princess. The King and Laeticia are thus taken away and Theo is imprisoned as well as Neyan knows he lacks resolve.
  • Shortly after Theo is found by Raymond's party in a better cell within the dungeon and is punched hard by Albaird and interrogated. Theo admits he had no other choise after witnessing the otherwordly power of Vyrians serving the Empire. He blames Raymond for bringing Laeticia back to Acendros, but is promtly scolded by Albaird that Laeticia would return anyway after hearing about the coup. The party then give Theo one time opportunity to make things right. He tells where, when and how the Princess and the King are to be executed, leads them to the tower nearest to the execution site, promises he would free Bertrand and prepare knights who refused to participate in the coup and urges the party to wait for diversion.
  • Laeticia is horrified upon learning limp Elena is scheduled to be executed/destroyed along with them. The trio is chained to the stakes at the Royal castle courtyard, while Lombert and Neyan are having a speech to the present soldiers, nobles, ordinary people and even some Vey'lians about King's alleged misdeeds, starting a war by shooting first, doing nothing against the Helgar's desease, together with Princess' refusal to accept the terms of peace by being wed to the Imperial Prince.
  • When Neyan informs the Kingdom is about to join the Vey'l Empire, saying the past must burn, Theo shows up asking if he can execute the Royals. After telling his apology to Laeticia he turns on the guards woving to not let anyone harm the Princess.
  • Raymond sends D.U.M.A. and Nina armed with a piece of Levitas Ore and his universal device to slide from the tower to the execution site with intention of turning Elena back online. D.U.M.A. provides the energy shields the Royals, Theo and Elena against the incoming semiomantic fire from the executioners. Awaken Elena quickly joins the battle when Bertrand with his corps storms in to put the end of the coup.
  • During the battle on the Royal Palace courtyard, Colonel Velanj Garfuul, another Vyrian who previously attacked Midas and Raymond in the Galca Shrine shows up. Velanj determine furious Neyan lost control and orders Lola to immediate evacuate the present Vey'lians via rapid jumps, leaving shocked Lombert behind with Lola saying he and Theo will find the way out of the scrape by themselves.
  • Velanj and Neyan who angrily taunts the Princess she thwarted his plans join the battle. After it Neyan's capture by the party is prevented by Gaston who scolds Velanj for this turn of events and then together with Velanj and Neyan he leaves the site by rapid-jumping. Lombert, out of his desperation, tries to jump as well but lacking the Vyr technology, he just falls on his knees, being left to mercy of furious Princess Laeticia.
  • In the aftermath Bertrand apologize to Laeticia for inability to stop the coup in its start. The situation remains critical due to the ongoing war with the Vey'l Empire and due to the fact the kindgom lost too many people in fights and many more were arrested for beiing the putschist, including Lombert and Theo. Raymond proposes to lighten Theo's punishment for his switch of the sides, but according to Malkya and Bertrand he is beyond pardon for his involvement in the Cottorinth conspiracy and for harming the Royal family.
  • Instead Raymond proposes to use the Fulga. Midas is unimpressed because it needs months to finish its development and make it combat ready. It turns out neither the King, nor Bertrand have known anything about it.
  • Melthia shows the Fulga to the King and Bertrand who is impressed it sails through the sky instead of water. Midas maintains it was originally not conceived to be a weapon.
  • According to Malkya her people should be ready with the Levitas ore so she intends to return and take the ore using Canus' ship. She dismisses Midas' concerns about her safety and states the Vey'l Empire may attack her lands again if she ignores the current danger to the Kingdom. She forgives the King the things that happened fourteen years ago, stating he had done all what was possible back then. But she wants compensation for her current efforts, starting with restoring Midas' good name. Before leaving she gives Midas a good dressing down for his childish attitude and his reluctance to help the people led by Laeticia who are still determined to fight the Empire.
  • Midas informs about the most urgent technical obstacles but upon inspection of a prototype by Elena, she states the measurement of the symbological energy output of the Levitas ore and all the calibrations could be finished within ten days at most, astonishing Midas who previously gave three months at least.
  • Next the party needs to prevent the further escalation of the war within the time they need to complete the Fulga. Laeticia mentions Neyan's proposal which the King immediately dismisses and calls on his daughter whether she has completely lost her mind. But the Princess stands determined to give her allies the time they need and orders Bertrand to send an envoy to Baldaar with message that she is overjoyed to enter in matrimony with the Imperial prince Ger'rard.
  • During further discussions about Laeticia's plan, Elena caught the name 'Vyr' which was mentioned by Theo in the dungeons before, and identifies the trio of Vyrians are actually citizens of the Pangalactic Federation. Chloe's idea is the trio became stranded on Aster IV somehow but found sanctuary within the Vey'l Empire instead. Laeticia dismisses these theories and states she will uncover the truths during the preparations of her wedding. For that she needs help from people disgiused as her valets who are able to see through the Vyrians but Raymond and Elena can't, as they are already perfectly known by the Vyrians and Neyan, therefore Chloe volunteers. Laeticia then concludes her plan by telling she and Chloe need to be retrieved by the Fulga during its maiden flight and then to use any intel she ucovers against the enemy in a final decisive assault.
  • Laeticia with Chloe is taken into the care of the Vey'l Empire at a randezvous point in the Aucerius Plains where she meets the Prince Ger'rard for her first time who gives a speech about a radiant peace that will follow. Colonel Velanj informs he will send envoy later to inform the Kingdom about the time and place of the wedding.
  • Raymond and Albaird return to the Royal City, the former finds Prince Ger'rard not very charming and goes with Nina to inform the King who is confronted by realization his daughter is at least twice more decisive and brave than he ever was, even mentioning his intent to abdicate and transfer his royal power to Laeticia once the war ends. The King asks Raymond and Nina to stand by his daughter's side.
  • Upon revisiting the Semiomancy Consortium Elena in the meantime designed a more advanced generator for the Fulga to at least double its energy efficiency. Raymond and Nina quickly return to the Throne room to hear the wedding ceremony will take place in only seven days at Baldaar Basilica, hardly enough to properly prepare such an important event. The imperial envoy said the peace can't wait. Raymond is sure the Empire knows they work on borrowed time and Nina tells the Empire does not know about the Fulga. Therefore Bertrand is appointed to work on measures to ensure the top secrecy. Together with Albaird they return to the Semiomancy Consortium to tell about rising security and that they must hurry.
