Silvalant (シルヴァラント大陸, Shiruvaranto Tairiku?) is a location in the original Star Ocean and its remake Star Ocean: First Departure. It is the largest of planet Roak's three major continents, and is divided in two countries: the Van y Ille Kingdom to the south, and the Silvalant Kingdom to the snow-ladden north.

- Eckdart - The only port town of the Van y Ille Kingdom, ans thus a very important trading center.
- Mt. Eckdart - A mountain to the west of the port town of Eckdart.
- Ionis - A small village to the southwest of Eckdart.
- Van y Ille City - The capital of the Van Kingdom.
- Checkpoint - A small outpost with bridge over a river near the Van y Silvalant Caves.
- Van y Silvalant Caves - A passage through the mountains dividing Van and Silvalant regions.
- Silvalant City - The capital of the Kingdom of Silvalant.
- Durss - A small village.
- Old Race Ruins - Hidden ruins located to the north of Silvalant that hold many relics from an ancient race.
