Santeroule is the capitol of Langdauq and the center for the world of Faykreed's signeturgical studies. The city contains the premier Royal Institute of Signetary Studies, as well as housing for the kingdom's army, the Sacred Langdauqan Signeturges. The city is full of shops and schools that cater to signeturgy, so much that even regular civilians, signposts, and building walls are imbued with signets.
The city of Santeroule is a location in Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. It serves as a story location and quest/shop/PA hub, one of a few in the main game. Fidel travels here with Fiore to appeal to the Royal Institute in an attempt to understand Relia's "signets".

The keep houses the barracks for its army, the Sacred Langdauqan Signeturges, as well as the premier scholarly establishment in the land, the Royal Institute of Signeturgy Studies. The city itself is replete with shops and schools that cater to signeturgy--so much so that even regular civilians, signposts, and building walls are imbued with signets.
Though countless men and women make their way to Santeroule every year with the hope of entering the royal institute, the vast majority have their dreams dashed upon the cobblestones like a broken piece of signecite. The fact that only the most elite of the elite are chosen for entry, however, does little to stem the tide of applicants.
