Rhima, also known as Reema, is a Nedian and the biological mother of Rena Lanford. She died 700 million years prior to the story in Energy Nede, due to an incident in the Symbological Weapons Laboratory.
In order to protect her daughter Rena, who was with her in the Laboratory at the time, she sent Rena forward in time to the planet Expel using the experimental time-displacement shield surrounding the lab, giving her daughter only a pendant to remember her real mother by. Rhima went against regulations at her laboratory to save her only child Rena.
