Pasithee (パーチェ, Pāche?) is an underdeveloped planet that appears in Star Ocean: Anamnesis. Its native name is unknown; Evelysse dubbed it "Pasithee", after the goddess of tranquility, in contrast to the turbulence they found on Farbrooke.
Characteristics[]
There are no city-like structures and the planet has remnants of a civilization in its early stages. A closer looks reveals its plethora of man-made buildings to be uninhabited, its forests to be synthetic, and the land itself appears as though it has been cobbled together. While it is located in Levarance's sphere of influence, there are no easily-identifiable mining sites.
Story[]
Prior to S.D. 536, Bran Kleiman sent a message to Levarance, saying that Operation: Frost must be subverted, begging whoever listens to stop the pulse towers. He left the warning playing on loop in the unlikely event that someone would eventually hear it.
In S.D. 539, the GFSS-3214F enters the planet's orbit and scans it in search of mining sites. Coro finds none, but receives communications from the planet below, much to their surprise. Coro is afraid that they are ghosts and wants to ignore the signal, but opens a line of communication when prompted by the Captain. They receive a cryptic message that mentions "the tower". With little to go on, they land in order to discover who sent the message. But the ship's sensors stop working, confirming a pulse tower to be there. Fortunately, Coro had been triangulating the coordinates for where the transmission was coming—near their landing site.
The start scouting the nearby areas and set up a counter-jamming device. Before long, Coro finds the pulse tower and Evelysse and the Captain enter. They are attacked by thornites, but they manage to defeat them and deactivate the tower; Evelysse suspects a connection between the monsters and Levarance. Coro tries to locate the transmission's origin, only to receive the same message but in a more complete form: there are three towers. At the second tower, Evelysse finds parchment with a map leading to Kleiman's hideout. In the radio room they find the full voice recording. Not knowing who left it, they proceed to successfully decommission the third tower. Unable to decipher the planet's mysteries with the little information they have, the GFSS-3214F leaves for the next destination: the Riven Ring.
