Nina Deforges (ニーナ・デフォルジュ, Nīna Deforuju?) is a playable character in Star Ocean: The Divine Force. A physician's assistant in Delryk Village, she is a young iatrimancer—someone who can wield healing magic—looking to cure a deadly disease.

One of the few people in Aucerius to know iatrimancy, Nina tirelessly devotes herself to find a cure for the deadly disease that claimed her father's life. Yet, despite her serious work, Nina remains cheerful, if a bit naive. Her high energy and go-get-'em attitude drive her research, though that often impedes her progress more than aids it. She hates to see anyone in anguish and will bend over backwards to help the sick and injured.

Nina is a iatrimancer, or healer, whose playstyle revolves around creating an area-of-effect spell around herself via cheering to heal and buff her surrounding allies. Her weapon of choice is a handbell.

- On the box art, Nina's collarbone is almost completely exposed, with only a necklace, and doesn't have gloves on. In-game and her character art, Nina has a light pink piece of clothing attached to the straps, covering part of her chest, and has gloves on. While akiman has not explained why there is a difference, he has corrected her outfit to match her in-game and character art in the new expanded visual of the box art revealed during Tokyo Game Show 2022.
