Luther is the final boss of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time fought in two rounds in Spiral Tower. His first form is rather simple, as he simply uses his spear in almost all his attacks and the Laser Beams symbol. His second, winged form is more difficult, having double the HP and MP and a new arsenal of moves, amongst them his signature attack Insanity Prelude. Defeating his second form rewards the "The Creator" trophy in the HD release and, under varying conditions, twenty battle trophies.
Luther reappears as a secret boss in the Urssa Cave Temple. As the duplicate Fayt's partner, Luther only appears when the player gets Fayt's solo ending, determined by the AR mechanic.
