Lucifer (ルシフェル, Rushiferu?), also known as Cyril, is an enemy boss from Star Ocean: The Second Story and its remake Star Ocean: Second Evolution, and a member of the Ten Wise Men.

He is possibly one of the tougher Ten Wise Men fights, as he is a fast spellcaster with high magic power. He has the power to teleport throughout the battlefield, although he does it somewhat slow so it is possible to knock him out of it. He has a strong Thunder attack that can cause thousands of damage without wind resistance items. His most devastating attack, Winds of Destruction, has a high chance of wiping out three-fourths of the characters, if not entire party. He uses this throughout the battle usually as the first part of the battle.
He seldom uses anything except Word of Death if he uses spells at all. In the PSP remake Fairy Heal (Faerie Healing) was removed from his spell list.
