Lenneth Valkyrie (レナス・ヴァルキュリア, Renasu Varukyuria?) is a guest character who makes several appearances throughout the Star Ocean series.
Variously known as the "Chooser of the Slain", the "Battle Maiden" and the "Lord of Creation", Lenneth is the protagonist of the Valkyrie Profile series, also developed by tri-Ace.

Story[]
Star Ocean: Blue Sphere[]
Lenneth doesn't actually appear as a character, rather the main antagonist—Rival—takes Lenneth's appearance during the third stage of the final battle, and can even perform Lenneth's signature move, Nibelung Valesti.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time[]
Lenneth appears as a superboss, ranking third in top difficulty. It is suggested to be the same character as the one from the Valkyrie Profile series, although with cat ears and a tail. She is first encountered on the fifth floor of the Maze of Tribulations, where she summons Mighty Vox. She is encountered again throughout the sealed floors of Sphere 211, summoning bosses. Her actual fight does not occur until the second-to-last floor, just before the Ethereal Queen.
After intercepting the player's progress to summon bosses at set intervals, Lenneth appears one final time, prompting the characters to comment on her several appearances. Lenneth, however, informs Fayt's party that this time they must deal with her, and she grows wings and armour before engaging them in battle.

Lenneth makes her playable appearance in Star Ocean: Anamnesis, and currently has two variants: "Lenneth", who was featured in the event Blood Valkyrie, and "Azure Lenneth", featured in the special events Valkyrie Profile -The Purged Wizard- Chapter 1, 2 and 3.
