The Labyrinth of Champions.
The Labyrinth of Champions is a cave found under the Van Castle at the Van y Ille City. Sealed for most of the time, it is used as a trial in very rare and important situations. Later, it can be accessed via the staircase at the Oracle Room.
Story[]
Star Ocean/Star Ocean: First Departure[]
The heroes head to Van y Ille City to join the forces against Asmodeus, the Archfiend. They meet with the King of Van, who tests them in the Labyrinth of Champions in order to know if he can or not entrust them with the mission.
Inside the party finds a labyrinth, with a Peryton in the end. After defeating it, they return to the entrance where the minister waits them.
