Kirlsa is a mining town located on Elicoor II in the Kingdom of Airyglyph. Kirlsa is a critical town for Airyglyph, as the country's economy is almost entirely dependent on the mineral deposits mined in there (however, due to over-mining in recent years, their mineral resources have begun to run out.) Kirlsa is bordered by Arias, a town in the neighboring Kingdom of Aquaria.
Kirlsa's mayor is Count Woltar, who governs along with his Storm Brigade.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time[]
After Fayt collapses in the Traum Mountains, Nel suggests that they rest up in Kirlsa before continuing. Cliff agrees, and the three check in to a local inn. Nel tells Fayt and Cliff that she has someone to meet, allowing them to wander around town. Cliff claims he's too suspicious to be out on his own, and Fayt decides to take a short walk. Outside, in the local cemetery, Fayt stumbles onto Nel talking to one of her subordinates, and despite eavesdropping on their conversation, fails to hear anything material. The next day, the party continues to Arias through the Kirlsa Caverns.
