Jivreth (ジヴェレーゼ, Jiverēze?), usually shortened to Jivre (ジヴェル, Jiveru?), is a major character and antagonist from Star Ocean: Anamnesis. Making his first appearance in -Twin Eclipse-, Jivreth is a General of the Baschen Empire who claims to be the "Messenger of Daphtes".

At first glance, Jivreth is a upstanding soldier of Baschen with his unparalleled skills, a man who has earned Caleen Keemosn's admiration. He is loyal to the emperor and has a tolerant attitude towards mistakes, appearing to be an ideal leader. However, much of this appears to be a front, for finding Evelysse reveals a selfish and obsessive personality that disregards the well-being of others.
Jivreth is speculated to be Evelysse's twin brother, as they share the same birthday; the game has not made this clear yet. Similar to Evelysse and Caleen, Jivreth is also able to perform summoning symbology.
