Arngrim (アリューゼ, Aryūze?, lit. Aluze) is a guest character in Star Ocean: Anamnesis. A recurring playable character from the Valkyrie Profile series, Arngrim is an arrogant but skilled mercenary, as well as an Einherjar and permanent companion of Lenneth Valkyrie.

A human warrior who resides in a faraway universe that is divided into many different realms, including Asgard, where the gods inhabit, and Midgard, where the people are.

Having sworn allegiance to the holy knight Aria, he fought to protect his homeland of Artolia against invasion by the larger country of Villnore.

After dying in a revolt following Aria's death, he was made Einherjar by the Valkyrie Hrist.
