The Holy Sword Farwell (聖剣ファーウェル, Seiken Fāweru?), also called Farewell or Divine Avenger, is a recurring weapon in the Star Ocean series. It is usually one of the strongest swords available in the games it appears.

The Divine Avenger is the second most powerful sword in the game, second only to the Levantine. It can be found on the seventh floor of the Maze of Tribulations, and its attack power is 1600. It comes with the Attack+500 skill, which can be duplicated multiple times. It can only be used by Fayt Leingod.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[]
The sword appears in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, during its collaboration with Star Ocean: Anamnesis. It is Fayt's Trust Master reward. Simply named Farwell, it is a Light-elemental sword with an Attack power of 135. Its description reads: "A sword from a faraway world that "bids farewell" to all who come into contact with it. It is said to judge sins and dispatch evil."

In the collaboration with Tales of the Rays can be used to unlock Rock Explosion for Claude C. Kenny.
