Story[]
Background[]
Little is known about Evelysse's past before her meeting with the captain and Coro. What is certain is that she was born into an advanced civilization, and that she had a younger brother. When she was younger, Evelysse and her brother liked to play explorers. Her DNA doesn't appear on the Federation's databases.
Episode 1[]
Due to unknown circumstances, Evelysse is stuck on a barren planet and uses her symbology to bring forth help. The GFSS-3214F is pulled from its warp course and crash-lands nearby. Evelysse is attacked by a monster so she runs toward the ship, where she summons Fidel Camuze to assist the captain in defeating the monster. Weakened by the effort, she collapses and the captain transports her onto the ship. When she wakes up, Evelysse tells the Captain and Coro that she has amnesia but that she wishes to accompany them on their journey back to Earth, all the while offering her services.
Forced to travel one star system at a time, they first land on Maere to find an energy source for the ship's shields. The trio discovers an illicit mining operation with a signal-jamming pulse tower, unknown to the planet's native population, as well as creatures similar to the ones pursuing Evelysse earlier. They deactivate the tower and install its energy unit to the ship. Angered by their findings, Evelysse wants to see the 'evildoers' brought to justice. Their next stops are Esperance, where they deactivate another tower and kill an abnormal self-replicating thornite to save the dwindling population, and Farbrooke, where they undermine a guerilla group, learn of the towers' purpose and meet the man responsible, Eldram, but he gets away.
In the uninhabited Pasithee they decommission three towers and find a mysterious voice recording pleading for Operation: Frost to be subverted. Unable to decipher the mysteries there, they pass through the Riven Ring, where Coro acquires information to decode data obtained on Maere. The next planet they visit is Berbent...
Twin Eclipse[]
As they approach a region of space with defense forces that Verda cautions the crew about, Coro receives a distress signal from a Federation ship. They track the signal but, rather than a ship, they find a escape pod with Tika Blunche inside. She is accompanied by its AI, dubbed Recoro by Coro. The crew decides to take her to her home planet, Daphtine.
Profile[]
Evelysse claims she cannot remember her past, but even if she does, she is a very private person who keeps her problems to herself. However, while is reluctant to talk about her own issues, she won't hesitate to lend a hand to those in need as she knows how it is "to feel hopeless" in her own words. She cares about her friends a lot and is fiercely protective. Due to her strong sense of justice, Eve is often outspoken, strong-willed and has a strict tone. She almost invariably serves as the straight man to Coro's antics, but views him as if he were her little brother.
Evelysse is blessed with symbological ability unheard of by the Pangalactic Federation; through it, she is able to summon warriors from across history. She has no fighting strength but helps the Captain on an uncertain journey back home to Earth.
