Cyuss Warren is a playable character in Star Ocean, its remake Star Ocean: First Departure, and Star Ocean: Anamnesis.

Cyuss is able to equip greatswords, leather armor, and heavy armor. The weapon Cyuss Special is exclusive to him. His movement speed is normal (★★☆☆).
- Recruitment
During the player's first visit to Haute, Cyuss will join the party automatically. But after traveling to Portmith to acquire the goods from the weapon shop and returning to Haute, he will part ways with the party, unless the player chooses the option: "Can you go with us?" Once can choose "Treasure hunt?", after which the player will still have to make a choice. If choosing "Let's split off here," he will leave. If Cyuss is recruited, the player cannot recruit Ashlay Bernbeldt or Erys Jerand, and Phia Melle cannot be recruited in the early game.
