Chaotic Cell (カオティックセル, Kaotikku Seru?) is an enemy from Star Ocean: The Last Hope, found on Nox Obscurus.
At the palace, the player can take the Chandelier Tram across to the West. There will be two spawns here—one of which may be the Chaotic Cell. If not, they can go into zone West and re-enter to check.

- Chaotic Cell is one of the best enemies to do level grinding in preparation for Satanail. The method is leaving one alive and leave it at low HP so that it uses Schism, and doubles itself; the copy will be at full health, but the original will remain with the same HP. Then one must kill the creator and repeat the process with the copy. This can be done almost indefinitely. In order not to kill it outright, changing equipment or disabling all Critical Modifiers might be necessary. Using EXP Modifiers is recommended.
