Celestial Ship is a term used by people of Underdeveloped Planets to describe space ships. To people of these planets, such large objects are seen as divine in nature and usually confuse the inhabitants of the planet.

A space ship crashed onto planet Roak in 46 S.D. on the Muan Continent. The people of Roak called it the Celestial Ship and had no idea what to make of it. Ilia Silvestri claimed that the ship had a design similar to that of a Terran ship, but had some differences.
By 346 S.D. the entire ship was covered in grass and totally obscured.
Celestial Ship remains on the World Map of Roak in SD 346.
The Celestial Ship is known just as Starship in most SNES fan translations.
The people of Elicoor II refered to the Vendeeni ship that came into orbit as the Celestial Ship.
In Star Ocean: The Last Hope, the Celestial Ship is a Cardianon Spaceship crashed in Lemuris. When Edge Maverick, Reimi Saionji and Faize Sheifa Beleth arrive on the planet, they, along with Lymle Lemuri Phi, a native of the planet, identify it as the source of the Bacculus epidemic and explore it in order to find the cause.
