The Black Brigade, or Heavy Cavalry, is one of the three military branches of the Kingdom of Airyglyph. It appears in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Their headquarters is located at the Kirlsa Training Facility.
All members of the Black Brigade wear black armor and are on foot or on horseback. They carry big claymore swords and have their own special attacks. When they are defeated they shout, "Glory to Airyglyph!".

One of the three military branches of the kingdom Airyglyph, comprised of heavily armored knights that move across the battlefield wielding huge swords much taller than themselves, encasted in sturdy black armor.
The Black Brigade is said to be the most destructive force on the continent of Gaitt, inspiring awe in allies and terror in foes.
Albel Nox, otherwise known as Albel the Wicked, master of the katana and general commander of the forces invading Aquaria is the current captain of this brigade.
