Armaros of the Deep (アルマロス・デプス, Arumarosu Depusu?, lit. Armaros Depths) is an enemy boss from Star Ocean: Anamnesis that appears in the normal event Armaros of the Deep Descends. The fight also has a Misery 4 version for added challenge.

Battle skills[]
- Misery 1-2
- Downward Swing (振り下ろし, Furi Oroshi?) - Short range. Raises his two front legs and slams them down. It comes out fast, and can avoided by evading backwards or behind Armaros.
- Supersonic Waves (超音波, Chōonpa?) - Short range. Releases a scream that creates sound waves and damages targets in front of him.
- Toxic Breath (トキシックブレス, Tokishikku Buresu?) - Short/Mid range. Releases an orange gas in front of him damaging anyone caught by it. May cause Paralysis.
- Tornado (トルネード, Torunēdo?) - Symbol. Releases a tornado, slightly homing on the intended target. One can dash through it or to the side.
- Reaping Spark (リープスライサー, Rīpu Suraisā?) - Symbol. Spawns dark-elemental orbs on top of his target, which will start popping right away.
- Gale Blast (バーストゲイル, Bāsuto Geiru?) - Any range. Jumps backwards and fires a funnel of wind at his target. Evade to the left or right.
- Spawn (産卵, Sanran?) - Any range. Fires three orbs into the air which spawn insects upon impact with the ground. They will chase the intended target and, after a few seconds, will retreat into the ground.
- Mother Earth's Fury (母なる大地の怒り, Hahanaru Daichi no Ikari?) - Enrage. Will attack more frequently and all of its attacks will do massive damage.
- Misery 4
- High Tornado (ハイ・トルネード, Hai Torunēdo?) - Any range. Props itself up on all of his legs first before she unleashes this attack, which comes out in cross-shaped lines. Can be hard for short-range attackers to react to.
- Tetra Gale (テトラゲイル, Tetora Geiru?) - Any range. Leaps back before unleash eight wind gales in a handfan shape (a sector of a circle) in two waves: first four, then the other four in a wider arc.
- Penta Gale (ペンタゲイル, Penta Geiru?) - Any range. Does not move, instead pounds the ground two times before unleashing nine simultaneous gales. The shape is the same as in Tetra Gale, and will usually occur after that attack.
- Large Spawn (大産卵, Daisanran?)
- Overlord Storm (覇王の嵐, Haō no Arashi?) - Special Attack/Symbol. Basically a combination of Penta Gale and High Tornado, but will not move. Unlike in both Gale attacks, however, Armaros' back is no longer safe. There is a short grace period before the second tornado wave appears.
