Anne Petriceani (アンヌ・ペトリシアニ, Annu Petorishiani?) is a playable party member in Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. A close friend and companion to Emmerson T. Kenny, she is the head science officer of his ship, the Charles D. Goale.

Background[]
Anne spent most of her youth in isolation due to her intellect, but had a close relationship with her grandmother. With her intellect, Anne graduated at the top of her class in the Federation Academy of the Sciences, surpassing Tiffan Delacroix who went to her same class.
Her scores led Emmerson T. Kenny to scout her right after she got out of school and place her under his command, although her stunning looks likely played a part in the decision. Anne thus became a science officer aboard the GFSS-2417F, or the Charles D. Goale, and works directly under Emmerson and Delacroix. She has reached the rank of lieutenant.

Anne is a determined and resolute person, and perhaps that is why it falls to her to bail Emmerson out of all the misunderstandings he creates. Although she must put up with Emmerson's foibles, the fact that he is as gifted as her puts Anne at ease, and even partly admires him. To Emmerson, she is not only a subordinate, but a friend who has the ability to both analyze information objectively and to keep him in check.
While mysterious and secretive at first due to the UP3, she quickly opens up to the party. Soon after joining Fidel's team, however, she reveals her soft side and her love for all things cute. Anne is seen many times searching for a lost kitten she has taken a liking to on Faykreed IV.
Gameplay[]
As a member of the Federation Military, Anne is trained for combat and prefers her fists and legs to deal damage to enemies. Skilled in hand-to-hand combat, she is even better than her more menacing partner at traditional fighting styles. In Integrity and Faithlessness, Anne is a martial artist who uses knuckles and has the highest base Attack in the party, and is thus well suited for offensive roles. Her playstyle and skills are similar to those of Cliff Fittir and Mirage Koas from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.
She is also an optional playable character in Star Ocean: Anamnesis, and has two variants: "Anne" and "Official Anne".
